Volunteers
Thank you to all of our volunteers who make Caring for Cats possible and to help us accomplish our mission. We are always in need of volunteers and have several opportunities available in the areas of recruiting sponsors, preparation and execution of special events and fundraisers, trapping of feral and stray cats and being a cat foster home. No matter how many hours or days you can volunteer, we would love to have you. Please contact Jessica at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Cat Foster Homes
We often have to turn down a stray or owner-surrendered cat because we do not have a shelter or facility to house all of our adoptable cats and not enough cat foster homes. Therefore, we are always looking for volunteers able to become cat fosters.
All it takes to become a foster home is to be able to provide a temporary home for a cat and give it all the love and attention possible until a permanent and loving home can be found. We provide our foster homes with food and cat litter as well as medical supplies and have a veterinarian who will take care of any medical issues.
Sometimes we also have a need for bottle-feeders and even if it is harder to be a bottle-feeder verses a cat foster, it can be very rewarding at the end because you know that you have saved a kitten from starvation or becoming a feral cat.Â
There is nothing more rewarding than being a cat foster home since you know that thanks to all your love and dedication stray and homeless cats will be able to find loving and forever homes.
